Get to know Vicki

I’m Vicki - a yoga teacher and breath coach. For me, the two are inseparable.

Krishnamacharya, often called the father of modern yoga, said: “If you can breathe, you can do yoga.” That simple truth guides everything I teach.

I’ve practiced yoga throughout my life, always inspired by the feeling of connection to body and nature. My approach is rooted in Ashtanga yoga, a practice that supports health, balance, and wellbeing through breath and movement. I trained with Ian Davies at the Orange School of Yoga in Cheltenham, and my classes focus on strength, balance, alignment, and gently expanding your natural range of movement.

My deeper journey with breathwork began in 2020 after reading James Nestor’s Breath. Since then, I’ve trained in advanced techniques with Oxygen Advantage and explored other methods including Wim Hof. Breathwork has shown me just how profoundly it can transform health - influencing stress, sleep, performance, and even conditions like asthma.

I’m passionate about sharing these tools. My teaching continues to evolve as I explore the biochemistry and biomechanics of breathing, and how they can unlock greater resilience, calm, and vitality in everyday life.
